3BR Estate + Pickleball Court + Pool

The Donkey House is definitely my family’s new go to whenever we gather in Arizona! A great clean and fun property to stay at. My family loved the estate due to its size, cleanliness, & tucked off location. The goats were definitely a great addition for the kids! Definitely coming back next year.

The property location and grounds have the potential to be beautiful however the property needs some serious TLC. I'm pretty sure the floor is never washed as it leaves socks and feet black, pool area is filled with brush on the ground, dishwasher bottom rack does not open, mold in showers, door handles falling off etc. The biggest thing that should be corrected ASAP is the safety alarm door to the pool. It does not work. My children are ISR trained but we still tied a rope around the door and put our own baby monitor next to the door as the smaller bedrooms are right outside the pool. Talk about stress! For luxury pricing it was lacking in luxury. So much potential with a bit of investment from the owners.

We used this house for a long weekend girls’ trip with 3 generations of family. It was a wonderful set up, allowing for everyone to have her own space when needed, but offered plenty of areas big enough for us to spend time together. The owners were incredibly responsive and checked in through the stay to make sure we didn’t need anything.

Sibling Christmas with spouses. Mixed reviews and opinions. Beautiful neighborhood and location. Access to desert hike out the back door is amazing. Lovely heated pool. The house needs maintenance and updating. The oven doesn't close and work properly. The kitchen was not well provisioned. We only had towels in 2 bathrooms (so enough for 4 people) and the manager sent Walmart delivery of towels at 11PM and we had to take tags off, wash, etc. I know they would have sent anything over but it was a pain to wash everything. The floors were filthy, our socks were black - they offered to send cleaners back, but it was Christmas and inconvenient. The grill was filthy, we sent photos. My sister fell on a paver that was not grouted down on the spa stairs, just placed on the edge of the stair. The pool was very low and the pump was gasping for air, which could burn it out and again its Christmas so no one came. We turned it off on the ipad so it didn't burn out the filter. The pool was dirty, the water jets that clean were not working. So, it is beautiful and the host is very nice and responsive. The house is just needing maintenance. I loved it, my sisters were annoyed at it's shortcomings.

The location and property had potential to be amazing, but we had numerous issues that made us leave our vacation feeling frustrated and disappointed. The house was in disrepair; most lightbulbs were burned out in the home, the coffee maker in the casita was broken, and the pool was not heated when we arrived as we had requested. Additionally, the lawn furniture was covered with protective covers, and we had to remove everything and move it somewhere, which took time. That should have been done for us the day we arrived. The outdoor furniture and landscaping was in very bad shape. Dead potted plants, bushes and trees were everywhere. The walk from the main house to the casita was so dark it was dangerous, and we had to use our phone flashlight to get there at night. We searched EVERYWHERE and could not find remote controls anywhere for the tv's in any of the bedrooms. The air conditioner in the main house was so loud when it went on that it woke the children up in the middle of the night. The most serious issue, however, was that the pool lock was completely broken, leaving it accessible to a 2 year old and a 3 year old. We were very nervous throughout our trip because of that and suspect that is ILLEGAL! Overall, very disappointing and staff not very responsive.
